Rob Burton - Chair
Mayor Rob Burton was acclaimed by Halton Regional Council to the Halton Police Board every year since 2011 when Halton Council Chair Gary Carr asked Mayor Burton to serve in his place. Since 2014, Mayor Burton has been acclaimed each year by the members of the Halton Police Board as their chair.
Jeff Knoll - Vice-Chair
Jeff Knoll has served as Oakville’s Ward 5 Regional and Town Councillor since he was first elected in 2000 and has been re-elected in the subsequent four elections. Councillor Knoll is also the founder and chief executive officer of Film.ca Cinemas in Oakville.
Curt Allen - Provincial Appointee
Curt Allen retired from Scotiabank in February 2015 where he was Vice President and Chief Security Officer. Prior to that he was Director of Security for the Government of Ontario where his mandate was the protection of the Government’s electronic networks. He has served as Royal Canadian Mounted Police Deputy Commissioner for Ontario and Quebec, Deputy Commissioner National Headquarters and Deputy Commissioner National Police Services and Technical Infrastructure, following his work as RCMP Chief Human Resources Officer.
Donald Foster - Provincial Appointee
Recently retired, Donald Foster was the Founding Partner of Phillips, Foster Boucher Inc., a global retail marketing consulting firm which serviced Fortune 500 companies. Born in Toronto, he comes from a long family line of community-service involvement; his grandfather and two uncles served as police officers in the area.
Clark Somerville - Regional Councillor
Councillor Somerville is currently the Regional Councillor for Wards One and Two in the Town of Halton Hills and is a former President of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM), a national voice of municipal governments who work closely with the Government of Canada to advance current municipal concerns.
Navneet Sekhon - Provincial Appointee
Ms. Sekhon has over 30 years of experience in strategic initiatives in consulting, design, and development of regulatory and compliance systems and policies for over 300 start-up and multi-national health products companies.
