Rob Burton - Chair
Mayor Burton won re-election to a fourth term as Oakville’s Mayor in October 2018. His mandate continues to be controlling growth, debt and taxes, protecting green space and the environment, developing more community facilities to meet the needs of the community, and making Halton Canada’s most sustainable region.
Curt Allen - Provincial Appointee
Curt Allen retired from Scotiabank in February 2015 where he was Vice President and Chief Security Officer. Prior to that he was Director of Security for the Government of Ontario where his mandate was the protection of the Government’s electronic networks. He has served as Royal Canadian Mounted Police Deputy Commissioner for Ontario and Quebec, Deputy Commissioner National Headquarters and Deputy Commissioner National Police Services and Technical Infrastructure, following his work as RCMP Chief Human Resources Officer.
Gary Burkett - Regional Council Appointee
Gary Burkett is semi-retired Executive with extensive commercial business acumen, specializing in Human Resources, in numerous industry sectors with 3 blue chip companies (i.e. FedEx, Bell Canada and MolsonCoors) spanning more than 46 years.
Jeff Knoll - Regional Councillor
Jeff Knoll has served as Oakville’s Ward 5 Regional and Town Councillor since he was first elected in 2000 and has been re-elected in the subsequent four elections. Councillor Knoll is also the founder and chief executive officer of Film.ca Cinemas in Oakville.
Clark Somerville - Regional Councillor
Councillor Somerville is currently the Regional Councillor for Wards One and Two in the Town of Halton Hills and is a former President of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM), a national voice of municipal governments who work closely with the Government of Canada to advance current municipal concerns.
Jason Wadden - Provincial Appointee
Jason Wadden is a Partner with Goodmans LLP, specializing in corporate and commercial litigation. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Ontario Law School and served as a member of the board of directors of the Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network from 2010-2014.
