The Halton Police Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Moscato as the Executive Director for the Halton Police Board. Ms. Moscato replaces Dorothy McDonald who is retiring in January after more than 16 years of service to the Board.
Ms. Moscato has worked for the provincial government for more than 10 years in the areas of policy development/analysis, stakeholder/government relations, strategic communications and funding program management. Most recently she held positions as Manager of Program Development and Manager of Policing Standards with the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. She is also looking forward to being able to apply her knowledge and experience in the community she calls home.
The Board would also like to thank Ms. McDonald for her public service. Prior to working for the Police Services Board, she worked in the Clerk’s Department for the Town of Halton Hills for 21 years. During her time with the Board, she has seen increasing awareness of the importance of civilian governance to ensure the public receives excellence in police services.
